Finishing off the cupboard shelves

I’ve been working on the shelves for the cupboard a bit more this week – decided to put a front onto them that will give them a nice look of depth. To do this, I need to cut a notch out of the left hand side of a dod of wood, so that it can sit flush on top of the support rail.

And a closeup of the cut – it was a pain to do in all honesty. My saw has very wide teeth on it, so I ended up having to go ultra conservative with the cut, and then sand back continually until I got it looking good and a good depth.
